Route Hub Desktop starts a private server on your computer and opens it inside a native application window. It connects directly from that computer to reachable MikroTik routers, so normal local use does not require Cloudflare, Docker, Node.js or command-line setup.

Local-first privacy: Application data is stored in your operating system user profile. The server listens only on
127.0.0.1, and each installation generates its own private session-signing key.What still needs a network connection?
The application itself works locally after installation. Your computer must still be able to reach each MikroTik router you want to manage. Internet access is only needed to download the installer or to use separately configured remote/cloud services.
